Glenn Trent Sr. founded Glenn A. Trent, Inc in 1943 at the age of 22. Starting as a Gulf service station offering gas, auto service and repair as well as tire sales. In 1953 with the growth of the business, GAT, Inc. moved to 12th & Kemper St. bringing to Lynchburg for the 1st time the Michelin Tire line as well as towing and recovery.

Today, GAT Inc. spans a full city block and is the largest and most experienced tire & wrecker company in Central Virginia. Mr. Trent continues to manage the day to day operations of the business and believes in fast, courteous service at a fair price.
